TWBI education: Rooting our Programs in Excellence
July 5 – July 8, 2010
Town & Country Resort
and Convention Center
San Diego, California
The 18th Annual National Two Way Bilingual Immersion Conference is being organized in San Diego, CA. For the theme of the conference we have chosen to depict the Moreton Fig Tree in San Diego, CA as a symbol of the unity and the universality of knowledge. The Moreton Fig located behind the San Diego Natural History Museum is considered one of the champion trees in the State and stands as the tallest fig trees in the United States. It is our hope that as we continue to grow our Dual Language and Two Way Bilingual Immersion Programs throughout California and the United States, that we will remain focused and united as educators as we forge strong networks of educators committed to the development of multilingual proficiencies for the students who choose to participate in these programs.
